Oral presentation guidelines
Contributed oral presentations covering original work with regard to the remit of the Scottish Microscopy Group are welcomed. For plenary presentations 40 minutes is allocated and for contributed presentations 15-20 minutes is available.
Presentation abstract submission
If you would like to be considered for contributed talk then please indicate this by filling in the appropriate box on either the online registration or paper registration form. The abstract should be no more than 500 words long with the text in 12-point and single spaced. The title of the poster and authors' names, affiliations and addresses should be included on the top of the page typed in 12-point bold and centered. Please cite references at the end of the abstract
On arrival at the venue, please make your way to the registration desk, to inform the organisers that you have arrived. Presenters must check their presentation at least an hour before the beginning of the session they are due to present in. Technical staff will be on-hand to assist you. Presenters do not need to bring a laptop as presentations will be loaded onto a main computer. It is recommended that you bring your presentation on a USB memory stick.
