Poster presentation guidelines


There will be a poster session at the symposium , with a sponsored prize for the best poster submitted.  Contributed posters covering original work with regard to the remit of the Scottish Microscopy Group are welcomed. We particularly encourage new researchers and post-graduate research students to submit a poster.

Poster abstract submission

 

If you would like to submit a poster then please indicate this by filling in the appropriate box on either the online registration or paper registration form. The abstract should be no more than 500 words long with the text in 12-point and single spaced. The title of the poster and authors' names, affiliations and addresses should be included on the top of the page typed in 12-point bold and centered. Please cite references at the end of the abstract

 

 

Poster boards are 1m wide and 2m high. It is recommended that displays do not exceed 1.5m in length. Authors should display posters on arrival during the registration period. The designated poster viewing sessions will be during the lunch break and afternoon refreshment break.
